What we teach
Proper tackling technique: shoulder placement, wrap-and-drive fundamentals, head-up contact, and finishing through the tackle.
Football IQ and situational awareness: recognition, keys, and when to tackle
Fundamental footwork and balance: stance, change of direction, hip control, and recovery after contact.
Safe tackling drills and progressive contact: controlled, coached hits that build confidence while minimizing risk.
Conditioning and injury prevention: core strength, neck stabilization, flexibility, and recovery routines tailored to youth athletes.
Why this camp
Age-appropriate coaching: sessions divided by age and skill (6–8, 9–11, 12–14) so every player learns at the right pace.
Certified, experienced coaches: former college/pro players and certified youth coaches who emphasize safety and technique over skull-crushing aggression.
Small group ratios: maximum coach-to-player ratios to ensure hands-on correction and fast skill advancement.
Progressive curriculum: players move from individual technique to partner drills to controlled live situations.
Emphasis on safety: contact drills, mouthguards required.
